Kitchen Ceilidh! Featuring Doug Eunson and Sarah Matthews with caller Martyn Harvey

Doug Eunson (Melodeon) and Sarah Matthews (Fiddle) play rhythmic English ceilidh dance tunes, choosing great traditional and self-penned melodies, enriched with harmony, and strong driving groove!

Experienced dancers themselves, they play for dancing regularly and form the core for other dance bands such as Cupola and DanceCupola, performing at festivals across the UK.

"Sarah and Doug are a duo that performs like a much larger group with dynamic vocals, great harmonies, warm stage presence and first rate instrumentals."

Martyn Harvey is recognised as a first rate national caller with too many festival appearances to list. He brings clear calling and an obvious enthusiasm for ceilidhs, and calls a variety of dances, 60+ of which are his own compositions. Martyn has been a ceilidh dancer since primary school, and a morris dancer since university, and has a deep passion for several folk genre styles including American Contra, Playford, and Fallibroome.

To purchase tickets for this event please click on ‘Register’ below. On the next page you can select ticket types and quantities.

We are offering three ticket types for this event:

- Standard ticket is the ‘normal’ price that we would charge for the event
- Pay a bit more is for those who can afford to, and would like to help support live music and our artists
- Pay a bit less is for those who would find the standard ticket a bit of a stretch, for whatever reason

You can purchase whichever ticket you like; you don’t need to give a reason, and you won’t be asked for any proof of need. For online events you only need to purchase one ticket per household/computer.

We are trialling this ticket system to help make our events more accessible to more people, and to allow those who would happily pay a bit more to do so easily, helping us to subsidise tickets for those who can’t afford them.
